  1. First pull down the plastic flaps on either side of the inside handle.
    Inside Hatch Handle
  2. Next use the screwdriver to remove the strap used to pull the door down. Now you can remove the large panel.
  3. Remove the three bolts in the middle, and push out the plastic clip on the right.

  4. Now you can pull up the outside of the handle assembly.

  5. Next disconnect the cable from the inside.

  6. Now you can remove the broken handle by carefully removing the "washer" at the end of the shaft and sliding the shaft out. You may have to loosen a screw to do this.
  7. Replace the handle and follow the instructions in reverse to reassemble.
