[edit] Instructions
- Turn the car off and let it cool off

- Jack up the car
- Place drain pan under the oil drain plug.
- Using the socket or spanner, loosen up the oil drain plug and remove it completely with your gloved hand.
- Wait until the oil drains completely into the drain pan.
- Examine the drain plug to see if it is in good condition. Also, if you have an aluminum or synthetic washer and if it got beat, get a new one.
- Remove the oil filter located on the rear of the motor, about 10 inches above the oil drain plug and a little to the right towards the passenger side.
- Wipe out any excess oil around the surfaces where the old oil filter was.
- Rub clean oil on the rubber and threads of the new oil filter to make sure it seals tight.
- Install the new oil filter on the cleaned area. Make sure you put the oil plug back on.
- Add new oil to your car. Put 3.5 quarts and check the oil level. If it needs more, add the rest of the oil.
- Test drive and check for leaks.
